Training for village health worker in the project "Deploying the model of supporting and smoking cessation treatment in CHCs" – Round 3

In the framework of the project "Deploying the model of supporting and smoking cessation treatment in CHCs", ISMS successfully organized a training course for 27 selected village health workers (VHWs). The training took place in 3 days from 13-15 April 2016 at Dai Tu district Health Center, Thai Nguyen.

The training course provided VHWs general information about tobacco, tobacco harms and benefits of quitting; equipped them with communication skills, counseling skills and confidence to apply these skills when counseling; helped VHWs understand and apply the consulting process of smoking cessation support and understand the process of monitoring, tracking and reporting of the project.
