Costing for the use of F75, F100, and RUTF in care and treatment of severe acute malnutrition and relevant diseases in children under 6 years of age

This study aims to provide evidence about the effectiveness of three therapeutic nutritional products for children with severe malnutrition and to estimate the costs involved once these products are covered by health insurance. Methods include a review of relevant documents as well as quantitative and qualitative interviews with health staff and mothers of children with severe malnutrition. Five health facilities in four provinces serve as study sites.
