Baseline Survey: Mat Troi Be Tho Social Franchise Model and Mass Media Campaign on Infant and Young Child Feeding Practices, for the Alive & Thrive Initiative

As part of the overall evaluation of the Alive & Thrive (A&T) Mat Troi Be Tho Social Franchise Model, ISMS was contracted to conduct a baseline survey in 11 A&T provinces. The purpose of survey was to establish benchmarks for detecting changes in infant and young child feeding practices resulting from franchise services and the mass media campaign. The survey also provided an opportunity to collect anthropometric data related to maternal and child nutritional status.  The sample included 10,834 pairs of mothers and their children under 2 years old.
